When adding a new ad you always have to enter the target-url. In order to measure as much as possible, you can pass dynamic data to this url. We call these macros. More about the features in this article.

This article is about features specific to the platform.

Dynamic URLs are very suitable for passing information in the URL, for instance, for analysis by Google Analytics. Additionally, you can use different macros. Note: Macros do not work on Facebook ads. The following macros can be used instantly and put in your URL :

  • ${CP_CODE} - The campaign's name, followed by the id of the campaign
  • ${CREATIVE_CODE} - The campaign's name, followed by the id of the campaign
  • ${CREATIVE_SIZE} - The dimensions of the ad, for example: '300x250'
  • ${REFERER_URL_ENC} - The referrer URL that was clicked on in the ad, for example: 'http://telegraaf.nl'

For example: http://www.example.com/?utm_source=adcrowd&utm_medium=${CREATIVE_CODE}&utm_campaign=${CP_CODE}
